GOT RHYTHM? What's going on? A series of workshops in Latin American drumming led by the Sambanistas. Workshops will include basic rhythm and drumming, building shakers and drums, and preparing for a performance in St George's Cathedral. Who can come? Anyone and Everyone! If you are between the ages of 12 and 21 this is especially for you. But people of any age are welcome to join in. Do you have to come to all the workshops? No. Come to as many as you can get to. It would be good to come to at least three and if you want to be in the final performance you will need to come to the dress rehearsal too. Even if you can only come to one workshop, come along and see what it's all about! This project is sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Perth. There is no cost to participants. What is this for? The final performance will be part of the worship at a service in St George's Cathedral. So we'll be drumming for fun, to make music and to worship God. MAKE SOME NOISE!! |
